Renewed

As we edge closer to the season finale's, the season renewals start to come thick and fast.
So this week we take a look at the shows coming back next season so far from CBS.

Big Band Thoery, The.jpg

Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper are both brilliant physicists working at Cal Tech in Pasadena, California. They are colleagues, best friends, and roommates, although in all capacities their relationship is always tested primarily by Sheldon's regimented, deeply eccentric, and non-conventional ways. They are also friends with their Cal Tech colleagues mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The foursome spend their time working on their work projects, playing video games, watching science-fiction movies, or reading comic books. As they are self-professed nerds, all have little or no luck with women. When Penny, a pretty woman and an aspiring actress from Omaha, moves into the apartment across the hall from Leonard and Sheldon's, Leonard has another aspiration in life, namely to get Penny to be his girlfriend

Young Sheldon.jpg

Young Sheldon' looks back on the early life of Sheldon Cooper before the events of 'The Big Bang Theory' when he was simply a nine-year-old genius living with his family in East Texas. Sheldon skips fourth grade and heads directly to highschool, much to his siblings' chagrin.

SWAT.jpg

Follows a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. lieutenant who is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he's tasked to run a highly-trained unit that's the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles.

Seal Team.jpg

The lives of the elite Navy S.E.A.L.s as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask.

I Have Been Watching

And now the main feature here is just some of the show I have been watching this past 7 days

Silicon valley.jpg

Silicon Valley (HBO)

Back for season 5 and still just as funny Silicon Valley follows the adventures of tech start-up pied piper ads they try to create a new internet.

This weeks episode saw the crew try and find new offices and new codes to help get their idea off the ground. When Gavin got word that Richard was trying to hire new staff but taking to long he hires up all the best candidates to try and stop him before he even gets started.
Once Rich find's out he try's to buy another start-up in order to use their coders, but once they found out what he was trying to do they decided to merge with a pizza delivery company.

Once Rich discovers the pizza company is losing money on each order he outsmart them by placing lot's of orders until they need him in order to survive.

Jim Jefferies Show.jpg

The Jim Jeffries Show (Comedy Central)

Another show returned for a new season, and this time it's Australian comedian Jim Jeffries taking a comical look at the latest news.

Like fellow comedians John Oliver and Trever Noha, Jim is not American which can help point out the funny side of things most people have just gotten used to.

This week episode Jim joins an anti-gun rally not before reminding us that he had a comedy special that had a bit about guns that went viral.
Also, he asked why teens are so good at advocating for better gun control.

I am a big fan of Jim I thought he was great in his sit-com for FX (Legit) and when that got cancelled i strugaled to thing of a

Rise - you can be.jpg

Rise (NBC)

We are three episodes into this show I like to give shows four episodes before I decide what I think about it, but this show has been great from the first episode, and I believe it can still be as good all the way until it's season finale.

I can see this show getting another season as they can always do another musical and have another set of students cast in the roles which were one of the problems with later seasons of glee when the students what had graduated kept turning up to the school.

Gold Rush Parkers trail.jpg

Gold Rush: Parker's Trail (Discovery)

With white water ending it's first but hopefully not it's only season I needed to fill my gold mining hole well here comes Parker to the rescue with his adventures in trying to gold mine in Guyana.

This show is made by the same company that makers Gold Rush so they know a thing or too about filming in tough place's, but even this must have been a struggle. It's only just got started as last weeks episode was them just getting there and best friend Rick telling Parker that has was going out to mine on his own next summer. So this episode we finally got to see them struggle to get to an excellent piece of ground that they can claim and start mining on.

This show is great for a friday night

Suits.jpg

Suits (USA)

Another returning show this week but this time only from a mid-season break. I still not understand why they do this, why not just make each season shorter and have two seasons a year but nevermind.

This week episode saw Donna and Harvey deal with the kiss that ended the previous episode. Also, Mike was offered a very important client and a simple negotiation, but he believed there was more going on that it seemed and had to do what he thought was right even if it meant losing a high valued client.

With both Mike and Rachale

Family Guy V for murder.jpg

Family Guy (FOX)

Once a season Family Guy like to do a whole episode with just Stewie and Brian and a grand adventure. This time they are in Victorian London and playing Sherlock Holmes and Watson and are tasked with finding out who is murdering all the prostitutes.

This episode was good but not as good a the therapist episode from a few weeks ago.

It still had a few funny gags the only one I still remembers is the interruption of the chimney sweeper.

As much as I like Family Guy it's a bit hit and miss in recent seasons but still has enough jokes to make me want to keep me watching each week

Are you behind on Family Guy are have you can yet watched this great show well why not pick up the season 1-16 boxset by clicking here
