Renewed

As we get the back end of the current season I am starting to look at the show that have already been renewed for next sesson.

To start with i am looking at ABC and so far the have only renewed 2 shows but both are very deserving.

Goldburgs, The.jpg

What I Have Been

Watching

Last week tonight, hold on.jpg

Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (HBO)

This show keeps getting better with each season, it looks like they keep upping the episode budget was this week they spoke about Mike Pence and his rabbit called Marlon Bundo and the fact that they are releasing a children's book about a day in the life of Marlon. So in true Last Week fashion they are also make a Kids book all about Marlon Bundo and telling the story of him falling in love with another male rabbit. which is great as Mike Pence is adamantly against gay manage. This book is on pre-sale and is already sold out and it having a second run to keep up with demand.

I have already placed my order and can't wait to see what will happen to Marlon Bundo, Not only is there a book but there is also a start studded audio book with the like's of Jim Parsons, John Lithgow and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Family Guy.jpg

Family Guy (FOX)

For all the negative comments Family Guy as got in recent years for not being as good as it used to be this weeks episode showed it was still one of the best animated show's on TV.

This weeks episode saw Stewie going to see a therapist and talk about how he is felling. In this bottle episode we got to see Stewie talking about all the thinks us as viewers have been asking for a long time, Like the fact he has a British accent which was so funny along side the actual British's therapist and they kept coming back to it with him saying he can't hear the accent. Another question they tried to address was the fact that only some people can talk to and hear Stewie, And the best part was the fact they added the fact Stewie is less interested in world domination as he was before, but after talking about his feeling's we got to learn why he was sent to see a therapist and also why he liked to put on the British accent and what his real voice is.

If you have not seen Family Guy in some time I strongly suggest you go back and watch this episode it is defenalty one of the shows best ever

crossing.jpg

The Crossing (ABC)

All the posters and adverts for this new show used the line "From the channel that brought you Lost" and I can see they are trying to get any fan's of lost to check this show out as it look's very similar. The premise is that hundred's of people get washed ashore in a small town with not evidence as to where they cam from. After talking to some of the survivors they say they have come from the future to try and stop the war that has broken out between them and the super humans.

After the first episode I have high hope's for this show, if they can keep the pace of this show steady and not rush the story along or worse have a few filler episodes where nothing important to the story happens this could have a few good season in it. What they have done well is make the future date so far into the future that it would take so long to get there they will never get enough season to catch upto it.

Middle, The heck of a ride.jpg

The Middle (ABC)

As we get close to the end of the final season I can see they are making sure the used the secondary cast one last time and make sure they tie-up lose end's so once this show comes to and end it feels finished with all quesions answered.

This weeks episode was the return  of the Glossners, and this time they stole Sue's car and won't give it back. And after everyome including the local police are resinded to not being able to get the car back, Mke get the family fired up and willing to take on the Glossners and try and get the car back. After one failed attemped by being out numbered the whole street amerged from the fog offering to help take them down,.

This was the best way to end the Glosseer rain of terror. Everybody had a part to play from Mike telling Axl the importsnt thing's he need's to know how to do, Sue trying to get her car and snowglob back and Brick determied to get more car driving lessons.

Rise.jpg

Rise (NBC)

After only seeing two episode’s I feel this could be a contender for show of the year, which is something i do every year where I pick my favourite show each year from any new show from any network.

This show is about and English teacher who takes over the drama department. The story's they are telling are important and are being told well, From one of the cast getting cast in a role that involve a guy love seen, but after telling his parent's they are trying to stop him from doing the musical,  and another story of a student who normally get’s cast in the lead role being side-lined for a less experienced student.

After one of my all-time favourite show’s Parenthood ending I have been on the look out for a show that is full of emotion and can leave me desperate for more, And this is very much filling the gap.

Gold Rush: Parker's Trail (Discovery)

After working hard for 8 mouths mining for gold you would think that all you would want to do is just get away and do nothing but not for Parker Schnabel as once again he and his friends are off on an adventure this time to try and gold mine in Guyana.

With the regular season of gold rush now finished and Todd Hoffman leaving the show they needed to fill a vacant slot for new mine boss and one of the selling points of this show was that they were going to tell us who the new mine boss for next season was going to be. If anyone was unsure about watching this show I’m sure this was a big help.

From the clips of what is ahead the this show it’s looking to be a fun show for a Friday night. I can’t wait to see if Parker and his crew can get any gold out of the ground by going back to basic’s.

Thank you for getting this far and I hope to see you back here again next week
