Welcome back to another update on some of the shows I have been watching.
The most successful shows are staring to get the good news that they are coming back for more
seasons and with valuable time slots starting to fill up the remaining shows must be getting worried.
We start the same as we do each update with a quick rundown of the shows that will or will not be coming back next season.
Then it’s the main event. Some of the shows I have been enjoying recently.
Recently NBC Renewed Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D and Chicago MED
CBS Renewed Young Sheldon Fox Renewed Hell’s Kitchen and Showtime Cancel’s SMILF

Shameless: Lost
With the current season coming to an end and Emily Rossum choosing to leave the show I knew it was going to be hard to write out one of the main cast members without it feeling forced or shoehorned in. In the last few episodes, Fiona started to spiral after losing all her money in an investment opportunity, losing her apartment, moving back to her old home and turns to drink and drugs.
But after getting better, joining A.A. and getting a job working the night shift at a gas station. After serving a former business partner she discovers that her property investment is still going ahead and so she is due her share of the money and he offers to pay her share to her early so she can get her life back on track.
In the last episode, Fiona is struggling with her decision whether to stay in southside Chicago or use her money to leave Chicago and start a new life elsewhere.
What makes this season one if the best for a while is that everyone got a decent storyline and time to tell it. Even with the knowledge that Emily was leaving at the end of the season they still made it look like it was not going to end happily for Fiona.

The Good Doctor: Breakdown
With the introduction of Doctor Jackson Han (Daniel Dae Kim), who has a problem with Shawn being around the patient and has moved him to a new role away from the surgical team and the emergency room, But Shawn is desperate to return to his original role in the hospital.
in the recent episode, everyone did their best to show what an asset Shawn is to the surgical team and showed off some to the ideas only he could have come up with.
As not being part of the surgical team starts to effect Shwan people try and convince him to stand up for himself but after getting into Dr Jackson's face and demanding to be moved back to the surgical team he gets into a shouting match even when he is informed he might lose his job.
This show is in a league of its own when it comes to medical dramas as it's main focus is on how Shawn deals with all the problems that come with working in a hospital along with his autism and with the ending of the last episode I can't wait to see where this show goes.
Tuesday
The Voice
Not every show I watch is a Drama or Comedy some of them I watch just for the entertainment and The Voice is one of them. If I have some spare time or I am working on the computer I love to have this on as I can almost play along until I hear that someone has pushed their button. Unlike similar shows, this show can still be just as good even with a rotating cast of coaches.
The introduction of John Legend to the show this season it's great to see how the others fight for the singers to join their team. As the coaches teams start to fill up I can't wait to see the battle rounds.

Survivor: Betrayals Are Going to Get Exposed
Like most recent seasons of survivor, each one comes with a theme and this seasons is one of the best.
This season each contestant how is voted off as a chose to ether end their game there or take their chances at the "Edge Of Extinction") a small island where you have to work for everything.
So after the first contestant was "Voted off" she spent the next three days alone with no real shelter or food but after the second player came to the island they soon found out that they have to walk miles to get their rice supplies and can't be moved closer to the camp.
As all this is going on the contestants still playing are unaware that the players they have voted off are still nearby and just waiting for their chance to get back to the game and in the preview bit at the end of the last episode we saw they are switching up the teams and as with the last few seasons they are going from 2 tribes to 3 and this always keeps the players on their toes and make a show that's been on for so long still feel fresh.

Superstore: Cloud 9 Academy
When a show takes a mid-season break it's always good when it returns and the return of Superstore was great.
The main story was Amy and Cheyenne at a training date for cloud 9 employees who want to move into a management role. Also within this episode, we also saw Dina struggle looking after Glenn's baby when he gets locked in his office because he was baby proofing his office.
What makes this show stand out is its realism as most of the stories could happen in any of the big box stores. I have said this before but I love to use half-hour comedies to break up the full-on one-hour dramas.
With this show recently getting another season, I hope they can keep up the high quality and move the overall story along at a steady pace.
