Happy new year and welcome to 2018
As a new year approaches I like to get myself ready for all the new shows starting in the first few months of the year,
And this year it looks like we have some great shows to look forward too.
So the new show's starting this month I will be adding to my "watch list" are
LA to Vegas
Comedy, Fox, 2nd January
An ensemble workplace comedy about a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world, set on the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday, who all share the same goal: to come back a winner in the casino of life.
9-1-1
Police procedural, Fox, 3rd January
Explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. They must try to balance saving people with solving problems in their own lives.
Grown-ish
Sitcom, Freeform, 3rd January
Grown-ish is an American sitcom series and a spin-off of Black-ish starring Yara Shahidi. The single-camera comedy follows the Johnsons' eldest daughter Zoey as she heads off to college and begins her journey to adulthood but quickly discovers that not everything goes her way once she leaves the nest.
The four: Battle for stardom
Reality Television, Fox, 4th January
During "The Four," four finalists are selected. New contestants then challenge the finalists each week to steal one of the four slots. The winner is named in the season finale.
The Chi
Drama, Showtime, 7th January
A relevant, timely and distinctive coming-of-age story following a half dozen interrelated characters in the South Side of Chicago. The story centers on Brandon, an ambitious and confident young man who dreams about opening a restaurant of his own someday, but is conflicted between the promise of a new life and his responsibility to his mother and teenage brother back in the South Side.
The Resident
Medical Drama, Fox, 21st January
An idealistic young doctor begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.
