I Have Been Watching

A.P. Bio (NBC)

A.P. Bio 1.jpg

As we come to the end of the brilliant show about a former Harvard professor turned high school Biology teacher who is hell-bent on getting revenge on an old college by using his students.

The last two episodes saw Jack convince Devlin to pretend to be miles son and make his first TED talk a disaster, but it back fire's when miles desired's to stay in town to get to know his long-lost son a bit more. Also in this episode Miles lets Jack know he is leaving his position and is recommending Jack for the job so he need's to come clean to miles about Devlin, not his son.

In the final episode, Jack is done with his miles mission so helps his students act revenge on the marching band after the pretend. To ask one of them to the school prom, but after finding out that Stanford is looking into all teachers, Jack has to be on his best behaviour. But after Jack finds's out that Miles has lost his job because of a catfishing. Exercise miles got one of his students to do. This means the job offer jack obtained is no longer available as it was miles recommended him, and he is now tainted.

The way they ended the season was brilliant, with Jack now staying at the school the student wants to know what the next miles mission. Jack no longer needs to get revenge on miles, so student's start to list all the people that have wronged them and who they should get revenge on next. This set's up the possible next season with a new revenge mission on each episode.

Deception (ABC)

Deception.jpg

The two episodes I watched this week were a great pair as the told the same story but from both twin's side.

In the first episode, Cameron was kidnapped, and that meant they had to get his twin brother out of jail to help find him and stop a mystery woman from committing her next crime.
After finding out, she is behind a successful puzzle app that leads's them to an abandoned hospital to complete a series of puzzles only to have it help the mystery discover what item she need's to acquire from a high profile auction.  After locking the person trying to steal the diamond in a vault but find's out it's his brother in disguise.

In the second episode, we get to see what happened to Cameron after he was kidnapped. And how they are going to get him out of the vault.

Alex, Inc. (ABC)

Alex Inc..jpg

This week's episodes of Alex, Inc. was all about the world of online comments and the fact that Alex can't help but take them to heart.
This show is a great family show that show's just how good an actor Zack Braff is, every so often Zack will say or do something that makes me think of Scrubs which isn't a bad thing.

After Alex takes out the guys for drinking hoping that once they were a little bit drunk, they would say that they fell and not sugar coat it for spare Alex's feeling. After Alex forgets to turn his recording equipment off in the bar both Deirdre and Eddie talk about how Alex is overthinking the comments of the online trolls.

In the second storyline of the episode, Soraya had to complete a diorama which Rooni feels is not finished he asked Ben to help finish it. This backfired as she is unhappy that Ronni thinks she can't complete the homework by herself.

Superstore (NBC)

Superstore.jpg

After the store was re-built following the hurricane that tore the store apart the CEO of Cloud 9 is coming to the store to do a live Q&A stream and to present the store with an award for all the hard work they have put into the store. After a team, meeting disgusting all the things they are not allowed to ask during the Q&A, but after both Any and Johna are confused as to why Myrtle is a specific topic they can't discuss, so they start to investigate the reason why she was fired. When looking at her employee records is shows that most of there rule breaking were in the last few months.

This leads to them asking former district manager Jeff if he know's anything about why Myrtle was fired, and they discover it was a company-wide decision to find any reason to get rid of the older employees. This is because they are paid the same, but due to the age, they don't do as much as younger workers so would save lots of money.

In order to tell people what Cloud 9 has been up to they convince Jeff  to disguise himself as an employee and sit in the crowd during the Q&A and bring up the plan to fire the older employees, but this backfires when he is offer is job back with Cloud 9 with a rise in order to keep the discovery under wraps.

This episode ended with Amy and Johna having sex unknowingly in front of a camera streaming it to every store in the world.
This is a great way to end this season and sets up the next season nicely.

Code Black.jpg

Code Black (CBS)

With every significant network having a medical based drama it takes a lot to stand out and be different, but Code Black is doing a great job of being different.

This show is about a hospital in LA that goes into Code Black (when the number of patients outweighs the available resources) this helps keep a show at a fast pace and still feel like your not missing anything due to the speed.

This week's episode saw a patient see the medical staff singing and dancing also Willis and Rox struggle to save the life of a congressman after a car accident.

Of the three medical shows, I watch I think this is the best all round as all the characters are different from each other and have a well-rounded backstory. another interesting part of this show is they introduce a new set of interns each season so it feels like a real hospital.

Chicago Med (NBC)

Chicago Med.jpg

Just like Code Black, this show is well-rounded but this due to the helping hand of two other shows in the same universe.

This week episode would not have looked out of place as an episode of Code Black as after a mass shooting in a local park the emergency room is inundated with victims and the team has to act fast to save as many lives a possible.

During this Dr Manning is worried as her nanny was planning to take her son to the park where the shooting took place and can't get in contact to see if they are safe.

As much as i love this show i don;t know how much i would love it if it wasent for both Chicago Fire and PD

MasterChef: Junior (FOX)
